Vanilla Salt
Salt is such a staple seasoning. It can give not only flavour, but depth and dimension that takes our food to the next level. And when salt meets vanilla and becomes Vanilla Salt, it adds perfection to any dessert! It's so easy to make and lasts long as well.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of salt - we use Maldon
- 3 vanilla beans - we use Madagascar Vanilla Beans
How to:
- Split vanilla bean lengthwise, scrape all vanilla caviar out.
- Mix in
- Wait for at least 2 weeks. The longer the wait, the more aroma your Vanilla Salt becomes.
Using Vanilla Salt:
- We love using it as finishing salt. And this could go with anything from cookie, brownie, creme brûlée, scone, caramel sauce. The list goes on!
