What is Blue Butterfly Pea?

Blue Butterfly Pea (or An-chan in Thai) grows well in tropical climate, and has been go-to herb and cosmetics for the Thais since ancient time. Similar to blueberry, blackcurrant or red cabbage, Blue Butterfly Pea has purple-ish blue hue from its richness in Anthocyanin. When steeping well, Blue Butterfly Pea gives neutral towards earthy flavour. 

Our Blue Butterfly Pea petals are primarily sourced from Northeastern region of Thailand (Sisaket province) which sits on the border to the north of Cambodia. This land has ideal soil and temperature producing premium quality blue butterfly pea. 

Using Blue Butterfly Pea
